Painting homes since 1997

TM Professional Painting has been at this for more than 25 years. The owner looks at every house himself and writes every proposal himself. The price you agree to is the price you pay, unless you add more work.

Most of our work comes from customers who call us back for the next room, the next house, or the neighbor across the street. We paint in 25 cities across Southeast Michigan, from Novi and Northville to West Bloomfield and Brighton.

You’ll deal with the owner directly.

Not a salesperson, not a call center.

What we paint

Foyer with arches after a complete interior repaint

Interior painting

One room or the whole house. We protect the floors and furniture, patch what needs patching, and cut clean lines at every ceiling and trim edge.

Exterior painting

Siding, trim, doors, gutters, and downspouts. Most of the work on an exterior happens before the paint: washing, scraping, caulking, and replacing wood that has rotted.

Cabinet painting

Keep the cabinets you have and change how the whole kitchen looks. We spray the doors and drawers in our own booth for a smooth, hard finish.

What a paint job costs

Most painters won’t show a price until they’re standing in your kitchen. We’d rather you know the range before you call.

These are typical jobs. Experienced painters and quality paint are what make a paint job last, and we’ll walk you through options that fit your budget. Your exact price comes in writing after we see the house.

One 12×14 bedroom
Ceiling, walls, doors, baseboard, window casing, closet
$600 to $900
Whole interior
2,400 sq ft home
$8,000 to $12,000
Full exterior
2,400 sq ft home
$5,000 to $8,000
Kitchen cabinets
Most kitchens
$2,500 to $8,000

What moves the price: how much furniture is in the way, drywall repairs, number of coats, number of colors, and the type and condition of the surface.

The TM crew were professional, skilled and did a great job painting the main floor of our home. They were careful moving furniture. They will be painting the house exterior this summer.

The owner, TM Professional Painting
No deposit. You don’t pay to get on our schedule, and you don’t pay until the job is finished.
No cheap labor. We don’t hire college kids or day labor. Experienced painters only.
If you have a problem, call me and I will make it right. That’s our warranty.

Before you call

Which cities do you work in?

Twenty-five cities across Southeast Michigan. The full list is just above. If you’re nearby and don’t see your city, call and ask.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. TM Professional Painting is licensed in Michigan and fully insured, with general liability and workers’ compensation coverage.

Do you offer a warranty?

We don’t hand you a page of fine print. If something isn’t right, call us and we will make it right.

Who will be in my house?

We only hire experienced painters. Our painters know our standards, take pride in the work, and can answer any questions you have along the way.

Do you paint in the winter?

Interiors and cabinets, yes, all year. Exteriors wait for spring, when it’s warm and dry enough for paint to cure.
